These skill sets include the ability to resolve conflict in the workplace, strong proficiency in interpersonal communication, the ability to plan, manage and ensure productivity in all manner of meetings, the ability to creatively solve problems, the effective use of social and emotional intelligence, empathy and mindfulness in the workplace, knowing how to lead difficult conversations, and deliver constructive criticism. The Workplace Culture Certificate Program was designed for the specific purpose of teaching all of these necessary core competencies in one intensive program. Participants leave the Certificate Program with the actual skills and tools needed to design, build and maintain a positive, sustainable, resilient culture within their own organizations.

 

During the course of this Certificate Program, participants learn how to intentionally design a culture within their organization that aligns with the Core Values of their organization.

 

In addition to learning to communicate effectively when resolving conflict, facilitating group meetings and leading difficult conversations, participants learn the significant impact that empathy, mindfulness and self-awareness in leadership have on an organization's culture. This certificate program is presented in three tiers of training. Participants can enroll in a single session or the entire certificate program.

 

Through these trainings participants learn the fundamentals of conflict de-escalation, such as identifying the causes of escalation and using a step-by-step system to de-escalate conflicts, advanced conflict de-escalation skills, such as how to identify risk and protective factors as well as de-escalate more intense and complicated conflicts, and finally how to support team members through conflicts with tools like peer counseling and post-incident protocols.
